Our Warhammer 40,000 online community is small and (generally) close knit. Those who are active on community forums and blogs get to know each other (from our tiny interaction) pretty well, so it always comes as a blow when someone who loved and contributed so much to the hobby passes away.


On December 20th, we lost Brimstone to a heart attack at the shockingly young age of 42. Over the last four years, Brimstone posted 7,460 times on Warseer (and who knows how many on Portent and on other sites). He was a fantastic person and a great contributor to the hobby.

Leave your condolences on this Warseer thread and, if you are in a position to make a contribution, the family asks that you give to the British Heart Association in his name.

He will be greatly missed.
